High-performance, heavy duty, polyester based bitumen membrane, perfect for use with shingles and shed felt on a variety of outside buildings.

It is a modified bitumen underlay that will enhance the life span of shingles and shed felt, leaving your buildings looking good for longer.

Type of application

Premier Underlay is intended for use as a ‘pour-and-roll’ underlay in a bitumen built-up roof system or as a high-performance underlay for timber buildings. Membranes should be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Compatibility

The material is compatible with all materials normally used in roofing structures and finishes and may be cut and formed using techniques described in BS8217: 2004. There are no harmful side effects associated with this material. Hydrocarbon solvent-based products, such as naptha, paraffin and creosote will have a harmful effect and should not be allowed to come into contact with the material.

We recommend this underlay for use with our Supaflex Shed Felt and our Supaflex Felt Shingles.

Storage & Handling

Do not drag rolls across rough surfaces, always lift. Rolls should be stored upright on a dry surface. During colder periods it is recommended that rolls are store in a temperature above 10°c for 24 hours prior to use. During storage exposure to direct sunlight is to be avoided. Do not use in temperatures below 5°c.
